Etimad platform launches a service for submitting financial claims for the private sector

The Ministry of Finance, in partnership with the National Center for Government Resource Systems, has announced the launch of the Financial Claims Service through the “Etimad Platform.” The service enables private-sector entities to carry out their projects and financial transactions in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and transparency, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to achieve the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Assistant Minister of Finance for Financial Affairs, Yasser Al-Quhaydan, explained that the launch of the service comes as part of the government’s continued support for the private sector, enabling it to contribute to economic growth and achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that the service reflects the Ministry’s core values of transparency, partnership, achievement, and commitment.

The service offers several benefits, including enabling both private-sector entities and government agencies to submit financial claims for contracts, preventing duplicate financial claims by either party, and allowing private-sector entities to track the status of their financial claims and obtain completion certificates. It also facilitates the tracking of procedures for issuing payment orders and processing payments for all claims, without exception, once the required supporting documentation has been completed in accordance with the terms of the contract.

He further noted that the Financial Claims Submission Service enables private-sector entities to submit financial claims directly to government agencies through the Etimad Platform and complete the payment-cycle procedures electronically. Performance is also monitored through Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The Etimad Platform has achieved a significant transformation in services related to tenders, contracts, payments, employee financial entitlements, revenue collection, and other services provided to beneficiary sectors. This reflects the scale of efforts undertaken to digitally transform public financial procedures.

The Ministry of Finance called on contractors and suppliers to register and take advantage of the Financial Claims Submission Service by visiting the Etimad website at etimad.sa.
